The best layover of my life. We decided to do a tour with Jacky and his tour turned our layover into one of the highlights of the whole trip. He spoke perfect English and had a tour bus that he took us around in. We got a car tour of Hong Kong, walked around, tried local cuisine and visited The Peak. We start off our tour at the Victoria Peak, telling you how everything started and why the British chose this place to colonize. We will then work our way downhill going though the old City of Victoria, discovering early settlements of Hollywood Road, unfolding the histories page by page, learning the mixture of local and foreign cultures. Afterwards we will make our way towards local suburbs to visit local living, see local daily lives, taste local food and snacks at the markets. We will also explore such city sights as the Aberdeen fishing village and Stanley market, ride the star ferry, visit the Kowloon’s street markets – Temple street market, Ladies street market, Goldfish street, Bird market, Flower market, and discover the secrets of Chi Lin Nunnery, Nan Lien Gardens and other hidden sites that only locals know about.

My son and his two friends had an overnight layover in Hong Kong. I hired Jacky at the last minute to meet them at the airport when they arrived at 10 pm and customize a night tour for them, given their limited time and the time of night. Jacky did an amazing job. I am so glad I chose Jacky Wong as my tour guide for my time in Hong Kong. I only had a few hours to spend in Hong Kong between flights and the best part of it was the time I spent with him. He is knowledgeable, funny, courteous, etc. I chose to do a vehicle tour as I only had a limited amount of time before I had to catch my flight to JFK and he was able to put my luggage in his vehicle after I checked out of my hotel and take me to the airport after our tour.
