We offer a partial refund for cancellations made more than one week prior to the start of your tour. For cancellations made less than 36 hours in advance of your tour, no refund is made. Please see our terms and conditions for our full cancellation policy.
Unless you opt for a vehicle rental, our tours involve a lot of walking and public transportation. We will move at a comfortable pace, but recommend opting for the vehicle add-on if you are not physically fit enough to walk for a few hours (with stops).
Our tours are customisable to your interests, plus they vary based on your time restraints and the availability of what’s happening in the city on any given day. As such, we don’t offer exact itineraries ahead of time, but you can see sample itineraries on each tour page and we can discuss your interests before your tour or at the very beginning of it.
We charge per tour, not per hour or per person. Our tours have a base price and a group maximum, but additional persons can be added to the group for a special price, which varies per tour. Please see our individual tour pages for more information.
The agreed fee for your tour will cover only the services of your local guide. Any other expenses such as travelling (taxis or transportation), food, shopping and gifts are not included. For the Macau tour, the guide’s ferry costs are not included in the fees.
Almost all of our tours are bookable through Peek. Please see each individual tour page for specific booking links (see the Book Now buttons) or contact us to enquire.
Public transportation, taxis, and food are quite cheap in Hong Kong, and most places we will visit accept credit card. That said, we recommend you carry around HK$500 (Hong Kong dollars) cash per person for all your small payments (i.e. travelling, snacks, small shopping).
Tipping is not a requirement in Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen. There is usually a 10% fixed service charge at restaurants and we usually do small roundups (i.e. leave the coins) to settle the bill. But other than that, tips should only be at your wish and are not expected.
We are fluent in English (with a small Australian accent), Chinese Cantonese (native language) and Chinese Mandarin (Putonghua – some might say).
If you don’t see availability for a day tour on your desired date, it’s possible that we’re available for a night tour on the same date. Please contact us and we will try to find a solution!

Yes! If walking is an issue, you have the option to add on the use of our Toyota Alphard 7 seater van, which will hold 6 passengers comfortably. The cost of this option for all Hong Kong tours is USD$100 including gasoline, tolls and all other vehicle expenses. For Macau tours, a vehicle can be prearranged and hired from the limousine company for around $320 USD for the day.

Yes! While Macau is indeed known for its casinos, it offers far more than that! It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a 500 year Portuguese history. This tour will focus on seeing the historic sites, as well as the current culture and recent developments in Macau.
While visitors from most countries do not require a visa to visit Hong Kong, there are some restrictions on entering mainland China, such as Shenzhen. Please check your corresponding mainland visa requirements and prices here. Visitors from the USA: Please note that a 10-year China tourist visa costs the same as the 5-day landing visa, so we recommend arranging a full tourist visa prior to your travels if you wish to enter mainland China.
