All tours and excursions offered here are all private tours, which it is only expedited for you and your group. So we do things a little bit differently here compared with the coach tours or any other joint tour groups. The advantage is that you will be able to see more than what those tours offer; not just seeing the regular major attractions, but to see local lives, see the sights that the joint group tours would not take you to and basically seeing the city just like how a local would and of course being shown to you by a true local who understands your views, communicates with you in fluent English. What you will end up with, will be an unique experience to take home: understanding the true local, because you saw and experienced the local.
We can also assist you in planning your trip, suggesting places of interests other than our usual tour path, helping you orientate, directing you on how to go to places, be your guy in helping you all things local here. Best scenario is to take up one of our tours upon your arrival, get a feel of the local area and with our planning, and you will have confidence going around on your own with a breeze seeing all that you wanted to see.

Bookings are subject to our availability and are on a first come, first serve basis.
Cash is accepted on the day of the tour. However I would always recommend to make use of the booking mechanism on the website at the time of booking, so the tour is all arranged, paid and ready. On the tour day, we can also make credit card payments. Our booking system have sent us a credit card swiper so the system can recognize your card in settling for the tour. Should credit card is not convenient for you, cash is always welcomed. All my fares are in USD$ (United States Dollars). We do accept all other major currencies (please do let us know in advance so we can work out the best exchange rate). For your reference, we adopt a constant exchange rate of 1 USD to 7.75 HKD. Again, please note that all the tours either we quote to you in your customized itinerary or listed in the web page, are all priced in US Dollar. Tipping in Hong Kong is not a must, but is welcomed at your own discretion.
All the food and beverage consumed during the tours are at the visitors’ own expense. But don’t worry! According to our past experience, the charge is usually minimal. I personally believe food is part of your Hong Kong experience and it could just be a small popular snack that makes Hong Kong appeal. We know best in where to find good eateries with friendly prices. So get ready to start a culinary adventure with us! We know that food is not for everybody; so please do shout out if food is not your thing, or you may have food restrictions with your diet or religion or even allergies. Please let us know in advance! Other expenditures such as souvenirs, entrance fees (where applicable) into parks and museums are also not included.
Getting around is a breeze in Hong Kong as the city has one of the most modern and efficient transportation systems in the world. Since some of our tours include traveling by public transportation, I would highly recommend you to get an Octopus Card should you be here 3 days or more. Cards are only sold in any MTR (Subway) station & generally cost HKD150 which includes a HKD50 refundable deposit and HKD100 value. the Octopus Card can be used for paying in all public transport and so much more (Starbucks, McDonalds, 7-11, Supermarkets, etc… basically any small spending except taxi). Click here for more information about the Octopus Card.
For use of a vehicle, it will be a flat rate of USD100 extra for all tours in Hong Kong only; no matter the length of the tour. I would always recommend adding on the vehicle option for airport layover tours as it would maximize your touring time. The layout of a tour with vehicle would slightly change in comparison with a walking tour with public transports. I would always recommend a walking tour in public transports; it is the best way to see Hong Kong like a local.
For tours in Macau, I would recommend using the local transport system in getting around. The old town has very difficult vehicle access as it was not planned for vehicles; remember this is a 500 year old city! However, should a vehicle become a must, we can arrange from a local limousine company at HKD400 (USD50) per hour including driver and petrol/gas. We will usually hire the vehicle for 6 hours.
For tours in Shenzhen, the best mode of transport for my tours is by Uber. It is the most cost efficient way in hoping around such a big city of China and cars (even 7 seaters) are widely available. Cost of the Uber ride is not included in the tour fare, but I would insist to pay first and we can settle later at the end of the tour.
For your convenience, pre-payment is always recommended for reserving our tours. We run our tours based on mutual trust and commitment. Therefore, your respect is highly appreciated and it is hoped that you will not cancel the booking once it is confirmed and vice versa. However, we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. If you really have to cancel the booking, please do let us know as soon as possible by all means.
In the case of unsuitable weather conditions, you will be contacted prior to the tour, in general, no later than 3 hours prior to the tour. We will reach you by email, phone calls and SMS. The final decision whether or not to go ahead with the scheduled tour remains at our sole discretion. In the event of any cancellation by us, you will not need to pay us. Tours will be automatically cancelled in the event of a Typhoon Signal No. 8 and 10 or a Red and Black Rainstorm signal.
It is your tour… only for you. Before we agree on any expeditions, I would prefer to have a small discussion with you via email or telephone to understand more about your preferences. Sharing ideas and answering questions that you may have. Many tourists come with some information handy on what sites they should visit. Most of these sites are general major tourist attractions, which are all good information for you to read. However, on my tours, I tend to steer away a little on these major attractions and have us away from major tourist crowds as much as possible. We do this so you can get to feel and travel just like a local…the objective of the tour. Don’t worry! Looking back on your guide book at the end of the tour, you will find that we have accomplished many of the attractions listed… magically! I don’t work on or provide any itineraries as I like to be flexible with you, accomplishing your desired sights but not in any particularly fixed manner. I could come up with another suggestion depending on when and where that might suits our day better. Play by the book! Prepare for surprises! Follow me!
Its a real life street tour being on the street, means we must be on the street. Nothing comes closer than yourself on location to get the true feel of what its like being a local. In particularly Hong Kong and Macau, places of interest are mostly commutable by public transport or taxis. My expertise is to manage a route for us to hop our way through. So there is really no such need to hire a vehicle to drive us around. Most importantly, in this region, sights are built close to each other due to the scarce of land. So on a private vehicle, we will miss out on many things just by driving pass them. All of my tours consists of different levels of walking, usually taking many breaks to have us exploring as comfortably as possible and of course at your pace. So let me know if think you have difficulties in walking or taking public transportation. I am able to analyse your situation and suggest a solution.
P.S.- Make sure to bring comfortable walking shoes!!
